this project hasn’t got a name yet, but it is about young women in between 19 and 21. Legally adults, children no more, women …just about… I like to talk about the fear and the desire to conquer the world, and the fabulous turmoils typical of this age.
 Jessica(21) is from Minnesota.

My first week with Willy Uribe who is on hunger strike since the 11th of december…
Just around the corner from where I live and where I pass by every day, there is a small publishing house called Sigueleyendo. Here is where Willy decided to do his hunger strike, surrounded by friends and colleagues.
Below you can find his reasons in english and spanish, please help him by sharing this link.
Given the unjust policy of applying criminal pardons exercised both by the current Government of Spain and by previous governments, and in response to the David Reboredo case, I hereby declare an indefinite hunger strike in order to see the following three claims materialized:
That the current government of Spain grant clemency to David Reboredo, a Galician citizen imprisoned for drug possession after having been rehabilitated from them for the past three years and had been doing social relief work since then. To allow him to abandon prison and continue his positive reintegration into society.
That the current government of Spain, led by Mr. Mariano Rajoy, give the Spanish citizens an explanation for the reasons behind the two pardons granted to the four autonomous Catalan policemen previously condemned for outright torture.
That the former government of Spain, let my Mr. José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, give Spanish citizens an explanation for the reasons behind the pardon granted to Alfredo Saenz, a banker arrested and later disqualified for the offenses of false accusation and denunciation.
I will continue with my hunger strike, indefinitely, in the city of Barcelona in order to achieve the objectives mentioned above.

What a way to start the week!!!

Idiosyncrasies IV …
mine…”I need to clean the floor, I need to clean the floor, I need to tidy up, I need to clean the floor…” on and on and on, my brain goes on a loop, it takes me so long to finally decide to clean the floor (see picture) that sometimes I think I have been dropped in a 15 frames per second movie. What s hidden in between frames is fear, silence, pain and memories…maybe not in the case of the dirty floor movie, that might just be a case of “it will be dirty again tomorrow”…

Idiosyncrisies III …
Yan is my husband, every day he leaves his dirty underwear on the floor and every day he is convinced he has put it away with the rest of the dirty laundry…when I left for 3 days, I found 3 pairs of underwear on the floor in the bathroom…when I see the pants on the floor I think, if there were no dirty pants on the floor there would be no Yan…not the one I love.
…but it still makes me angry !! :)

and thinking of idiosyncrasies I thought of another one, when my mother in law comes to visit us she really seems to like buying us kitchen utensils like paella dishes (we now have a collection of 3 and unless she is around no one makes any paella )…when I see the paella dishes hanging on the wall I think, “bloody hell we have no space”…but every paella dish she buys, I love her a bit more.

My father came to visit us for 18 days. Every time he comes he polishes clean my frying pan and occasionally the oven and this summer as well the silver spoon you see in the picture…now I can`t help smiling every time I see the frying pan and I miss him.

somewhere in the street I read “fuck art let´s dance”…
How would you translate it into images?…mhm, I am working on that.
I photographed a 21 years old woman and still found a beautiful child in her. We grow slower then I thought. Nice.
